Get Planted in a Life-Giving Church – One of the best ways we can continue to grow in our relationship with God is to connect into a church family that can encourage us and help us grow. The people that are around us and the environments we spend time in shape our lives and largely determine where we go in life.
Once you find a church, it’s important that you get involved. God places us in a family of believers to encourage us, teach us and challenge us to grow. If you stay on the outside, you’re missing out on opportunities to grow and robbing yourself of the rich blessings that come when we’re a part of a church family.
Psalm 92 tells us that those who are planted in the house of God will flourish. That simply means that when we “put down roots” and commit to being a part of a church and begin to invest our lives in it, we receive blessings and good things back as a result.
