Forgive my blogging performance these days. We had an amazing and full weekend and I was sharing some thoughts with our Kingdom Partners on Sunday night and when I got to the Fresh Start number for the year I was really blown away. In the first 6 weeks/weekends of the year, we’ve had 862 people pray the salvation prayer and give their lives to Christ either for the first time or as an act of re-dedication. That’s an amazing number! I also pray a salvation prayer at the end of every TV program and encourage people to call or email to give us their contact info and so that 862 number includes 74 from our television program. The rest happened in our services.

This week I’m meeting with a writer who’s going to help me write a book about fresh starts. I’m hoping to capture what is going on at our church right now and also lay out some clear steps for people who are making a fresh start with God. We want to use this book to tell our story and also to give out at the end of our services to people who pray the salvation prayer, send to TV viewers, etc. Say a quick prayer for me this week as we start this book adventure.
