Life Churchers…Just wanted to give a shout out to you about tonight’s awesome service. 2009 brings a new format for our Wednesday nights. We’re just having ONE WEDNESDAY night service a month in 2009 and it’s the first Wednesday of every month. Going to be awesome worship, communion, prayer, the Word, etc.
The first one is tonight and we’ll also be doing something special in tonight’s service – we’ll be having an anointing service at the end. I got this idea from Pastor Brian Houston. Hillsong Church has an anointing service at the beginning of each year. Praying over everyone, blessing them for the year, etc. We started it last year at Wide Open and I got tons of great feedback about it. This year we’re going to do it TONIGHT at ONE Wednesday. Get ready for God to do something awesome in your life. Anywho…hope to see you there. Great stuff in AXIS and Kids Life as well. Get there early so you can get a great seat and be ready when worship kicks off at 7p.
What a SPECIAL evening One Wednesday was! Thank you for recognizing the merit in annoiting the ENTIRE congregation! I never would have had the courage to ask for annoiting on my own.
The prayer spoken over me was said in Spanish and felt so powerful, specific, and purposeful for my life!
Greater things ARE yet to come! Happy 2009!
