We fed hundreds of people this past week from the Gulf Coast. Most of them have returned home. Got this cool note from one of the guys that was here from the New Orleans area…
Pastor John,
I would like to thank you and your church for the love and hospitality that was shown to my family while we were in Memphis. In the Sunday service you said something that stuck with me: “it’s time to be the church”. We saw that happen and it was a beautiful thing. We met so many kind people and were blessed by the meals served to us. We are now safe back home and we have brought back with us a slice of Life Church culture we intend to share…Thanks
Thanks to everyone who played a part.
At the urging of my friend Greg Surratt, I’m trying Twitter. Its like a daily, minute-by-minute blog. I’m not really sure people want all that info, but I’ll give it a shot. It could be fun. If you want more info, check it out here.
Also, last Parenthood message this weekend. Its been a good series, closing it out strong, so don’t miss this weekend. Try the Saturday night service. You’ll love it.
