Had an incredible church growth conference this past weekend. I think we had around 200 people between Friday Night and Saturday, right around 28 churches from 10 different states. It was really a great time sharing war-stories, connecting with friends, strategizing about how to move the church forward. We’re going to blog about it this week because we’ve been getting tons of feedback. Here’s a few texts I got…
“John, man you guys did awesome…thx for everything…it was a much needed trip. Lots of things are clearing up for us. Thank your team, they hit it out of the park.” Huntsville, AL
“John, from start to finish, the weekend was amazing for our team. You can’t imagine the conversation we’ve already begun. Please tell your leaders job well done!” Jackson, TN
“Make Room was INCREDIBLE! Thanks so much for rolling out the “Red Carpet” You have assembled an awesome team. I left Memphis challenged and inspired.” Houston, TX

Wow…I wish I could have been there. I really believe that the Lord is beginning to bring together the various branches of the church into a cohesive unit, and I’m excited about it!
I read a bit about it on Kristen’s blog and mentioned that I wish part of our team could have been at this… I know we’re not a church, but I think a lot of the principles would have applied to what we do. Hoping there will be more of these in the future that we could participate in!
John,
The conference was great! Your class time with the Senior Pastor’s was like a breath of fresh air. God bless you for having the courage to speak to pastors, and for positioning your church to give information and understanding as to how we can serve the Kingdom better.
Look forward to hearing from you.
