Servolution and Friends

Pastor Dino at Wide Open

We’re just a week away from our big Serve Day on Saturday, January 26. If you are from the Memphis area I hope you’re planning to be involved. It will be a phenomenal day. It’s been awesome to have some friends come over the last few weeks and really stir our hearts about taking care of the people of our city. My great friend Dino Rizzo from Healing Place Church in Baton Rouge was here a few weeks back to kick off the year. He brought a great word to the church on Sunday and got our leaders charged up for the year at Wide Open. Then this past Wednesday night Matt Barnett from the Dream Center was with us. It was an incredible night for our church. He brought a real word to us. We’ve got his message uploaded below so you can hear it. Take some time and soak it in. After the service we ate some BBQ and we laughed and cut up until late into the night. Leslie and I are so thankful for the great friends God has brought into our life. Do you ever stop and think how incredibly lonely and unfulfilling life would be without family and friends and the awesome people God has put into your life? Make sure you love them and tell them today – “Thanks for being such a great friend.”

    Ps. John and Leslie

You do have some of the greatest friends in the world. It’s often said that you can tell alot about a person just by looking at who their friends are. You are two of the GREATEST people to ever live. Strong statement I know, but the proof is in your heart for God, your love for people, and your friends!
