I’ve always said its really hard to put a value to the power of vision in our lives. My daughter loves to play the “this or that” game. She throws out two equally difficult scenarios that we have to choose from. Here’s a recent example…You can only take a shower once a month (and no other form of bathing, I tried to negotiate) OR you can bathe with wet wipes every day. That is a tough one for me because I take like 3 showers a day. However, I would choose the wet wipe flow out of love and respect for the people around me. But no showers? Man, that would be a HUGE downer.
If I had to choose between losing everything and having vision OR keeping everything I have but not having vision, I’d choose vision every time. With vision, it’s quite possible I could get it all back. In the weeks to come I want to do some posting on vision. I think it’s a big time important component to a healthy, thriving life (or marriage or church…)
In church we’ve been showing some video updates on the key vision components for next year. Thought you’d like to see them. 2008 is going to be bumpin’ – we’re rolling out a whole new outreach initiative in Memphis that begins in January, we’re kicking off a 30 minute TV program that will air on Sunday morning on one of the major networks (looks like NBC at this point, but we’re still negotiating), and we’re also launching our 2nd campus on Easter Sunday! And that’s just the first quarter!
Check out the video, stop and pray for this Sunday’s Miracle Offering. There’s a lot at stake.

Hello Pastor John:
How can we cultivate vision? How do we begin again? I guess when things seem at the bottom we can only go up. Praise God! He has a great plan and prosperous future instore for Bob and Judy Brown.
You are an inspiration to all of us. How can we say thanks to you? God’s Grace.
Thank you
Judy Brown
