I want to ask you to agree with us in prayer for Matt & Kissy Blanchard. They both returned with our Cambodia team last week, and Matt especially is facing some serious health challenges today. Many of you prayed for Matt after he collapsed in the airport just before leaving Cambodia. At the time it appeared to be caused by extreme dehydration.
Since returning home, he has not regained his strength, and yesterday he started exhibiting some puzzling symptoms of weakness on one side of his body. He saw a neurologist today and underwent several tests, including an EEG and spinal tap. On Thursday he will return for an MRI, and should have the test results on Friday.
Kissy is also not feeling well today. Please stand with us in interceding for Matt & Kissy, for healing, peace, and financial provision as they are unsure of what their healthcare will be covering. Also, the neurologist conducting the tests is Dr. Chen – please pray for wisdom and guidance as he investigates all the possibilities.
