Home Sweet Home

Great to be home after a long journey back from Battambang, Cambodia.

Mundo and I got in on Wednesday afternoon. I just heard that the team made it in safe and sound last night, with all of their luggage. Awesome.

It’s funny, there is always this little letdown that happens after a mission trip. Just a little dip that you have to press through. I think it’s a combo of things - a little physical, because you’re exhausted, a little spiritual because you were on the front line, and there is spiritual warfare big time (in this case, Buddhism, etc.). There are 2 things that make it easier for me - coming back to Leslie and the kids, and getting back in the vision saddle here at church. We’ve got a great weekend planned in church life. Everyone’s back home this weekend so church will be awesome, every service always has a special little twist. Also, if you look we’re just about to cross over the 1000 mark in the number of people who have raised their hand and prayed a prayer of salvation in our services (see the Fresh Starts counter to the right). That’s pretty amazing! Last year we hit that number at the end of the year! God is really doing something powerful in our services.

We’re also having a Wide Open Leadership Night on Sunday night at 6p. It’s going to be a great night. I’ll be making some special announcements so don’t miss it. We call it Wide Open because its open to everyone!

From Battambang to Phnom Penh to Singapore to Seoul to San Francisco to Cordova! There’s no place like home…

We are so glad your home.

We are so priviledged to have been apart of GoGlobal Missions Trips. Team Cambodia experienced greatness with all the fresh starts.

Christ in us, the hope of glory.
