I’m pumped about the weekend ahead…

Kingdom Builders – Saturday – 11a @ Lu Lu Grille
This has been one of the coolest things we’ve launched this year. It’s made up of people in the church who feel God’s called them to build His Kingdom through significant financial giving. We have a lunch every other month and share good reports of what God’s doing in our lives, updates on church-life and a lesson on Kingdom finances. This Saturday Phil Stern will speak. He’s got great insight into Biblical finances, generosity, etc. I’m fired up to get another update on the $500 that we started multiplying months ago. By the last meeting, that $500 had become $1500, so I broke it back down and handed $500 to three different people. They’ll be bringing back the “spoils” and sharing how they brought increase to what they were given. It’s going to be a great lunch. Phil Stern – Sunday @ 9a and 11a
Phil’s going to preach in both morning services on Sunday. I’ll be there as well, sharing about some things that are coming up. We’ve been doing something really cool in our services the last few weeks. Our 10th Anniversary Celebration is coming up and we’re counting down the years by showing special videos of people who were impacted by the church in a particular year. The first weekend we did 2006 and 2005, then we did 2004 and 2003. This weekend we’re going to do 2002 and 2001. Those years were big time years for us – that’s when we moved into our building. This Sunday, we decided to break from what we’ve been doing and show a prophecy that was given to the church by Heather Mercer in 2002. I watched it again a week ago and had forgotten what a powerful and accurate word it is. I can’t wait for you to see it. As always, there will be great and passionate praise and worship and ministry to needs. Come expecting great things!

Wide Open Leadership Night – Sunday @ 6p
These nights have been incredible. There will be snacks and a chance to catch up with friends. I’ll be sharing a word on leadership and we’ll watch a really powerful video from Reinhard Bonnke. I’m also going to give a land/facilities update. Last time we had nearly 200 leaders packed in the youth center. It was a great night. The night is literally “wide-open” to anyone and everyone.
